This issue presents three papers from the 14th Annual Limina Conference, Humanifesto: dissecting the human experience, held on 19 July 2019. This year is one in which we have had to grapple with our feelings of collective humanity, and human frailty. The papers from the conference, read together, speak overwhelmingly to our sense of humanity, our sense of identity or self, and how that identity projects, in the past, present, and into the future.
